Recently, many governments have stepped up the applications of LED in local areas such as Japan ‘21 century Lighting Plan’, U.S. ‘Lighting Plan for Next Generation’, EU ‘ Rainbow Plan’ and China ‘Eliminate Incandescent Lamp Gradually & Speed Up Promoting Energy Saving Light Project’ will introduce LED into daily life.
With the development of China’s LED industry, its market future is much brighter than before. The holding of the World Expo can supply the good opportunities and show space for the saving upgrading of local lighting industry. According to statistics, the coming World Expo will surely be the biggest stage for the LED industry. The 80% fantastic evening scenes of the World Expo are combined with LED. The sign broads made by LED system will be full of the 5.28 square kilometer area to give the directions for all the attendees. Therefore, the developing future is cheerful.
The Review of Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo 2009
On July 7-10, 2009, concurrently with the 17th Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition and Shanghai International Printing & Packaging Products Fair, Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo 2009 has been held at Shanghai New International Expo Center. It covered 150,000 sqm of 10 halls with 6 subjects and attracted 1209 exhibitors from home and abroad including over 300 LED & Lighting ones.Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo 2009 has just been the first expo of LED & Lighting industry of East China which has invited 95775 visitors. What’s more, the number of people from overseas areas is 16920 from more than 80 countries and areas of five continents.
The Preview of Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo 2010
In order to increase the international markets and fellow the step of local and overseas lighting market, Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo, which will cover 30,000 sqm show area and 400 exhibitors, will be held concurrently with Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition. The total area will be at 150,000 sqm.
The Interaction between Forum and Comparison
‘China (Shanghai) International Solid-state Lighting Application Technology Form’ and ‘LED Road Lights Comparison’ will still be concurrently held with Shanghai Int’l LED & Lighting Expo 2010.
Cao Jian Lin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shen Xiao Ming, Vice Mayor of Shanghai municipal government, Shou Zi Qi, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality have been present at the last forum.
